Obtained Master’s degree in Dairy and Food Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia in the United States; Certified Safe Quality Food Institute – SQF Consultant, with over 15 years of experience in food safety consulting services to various food processing plants; volunteer as a mentor for the Food Science students at the University of British Columbia; member International Association for Food Protection; member BC Food Protection Association; was nominated in 2015 for the Leadership Award presented by Food in Canada.
