I am a third-year Ph.D. student at Louisiana State University, working under the mentorship of Dr. Achyut Adhikari. My research focuses on food safety, with a particular emphasis on developing mitigation strategies against Listeria monocytogenes, a critical foodborne pathogen of public health concern.
In addition to my academic work, I currently serve as the chair of the IAFP SPDG Board, where I contribute to advancing student engagement and professional development in the field of food safety.
I am deeply passionate about food safety research, especially in exploring innovative and sustainable approaches to control pathogenic microorganisms in food systems. My interests include antimicrobial interventions, biofilm control, and the application of microbiological and molecular tools to enhance food safety outcomes.
