→Update your Profile:

Contact information is populated by the IAFP Membership database. 

You can add the following in IAFP Connect:

Add a profile picture – You will see a round circle with a headshot in the upper right-hand side of your screen. First click, then click Profile, Click Actions on the left of the page under the profile circle.

Add a bio – tell us a little bit about yourself. Add your professional affiliations – what groups are instrumental in your professional development?

Contact details will already appear from our member database. If you wish to update any of these records, please contact the IAFP Office. You can control what information is visible to other members by changing your privacy settings (see below).

→Update Your Privacy Settings:

All IAFP Connect members are included in the IAFP Connect member directory. Please visit the Privacy Settings in your profile to decide what information you would like to be displayed. You can control who views what content by selecting the following

Public – Everyone can see.

Members Only – Only IAFP members.

My Contacts – Only people who you have accepted as a contact.

Only Me – No one but yourself.

→Begin to Contribute:

It’s time to engage with other Food Safety Professionals. Please take the time to browse the discussions, reply when you can add to the conversation and ask questions by starting new discussions. Browse the latest discussions

→Set your Email and Community Notification Preferences:

Please visit your Profile - My account – Community Notifications to select what notifications you would like to receive.

You can select:

“No Email” – Unsubscribe.

“Daily Digest” – Discussion posts from the entire day in that group.

 “Weekly Digest”- Discussion posts from the entire week in that group.

“Daily Consolidated Digest” – Shared files, discussion posts, events, and announcements for the day in one consolidated digest.

“Weekly Consolidated Digest” - Shared files, discussion posts, events, and announcements for the week one consolidated digest

You may change your notification settings at any time.
